What is Pullfolio?
Pullfolio is a tool that takes some of the hassle out for photographers wanting to turn pro: using your flickr stream, Pullfolio builds a professional photography portfolio site that’s both customizeable and slick enough to present to clients. No more needing to do your own HTML, rent your own server, or hire a web designer! You can sort your photostream by tags or sets, then import those directly into Pullfolio. When you update your sets, or add more tagged photos, Pullfolio automatically updates too. Have different portfolios to show to different clients. Use it as a secondary site when people want to see what other work you’ve done. And best of all, upgrading to the Pro package allows you to customize your site layout even further, plus control the metadata for Google searches – and even run analytics code to see who’s looking at your images. In future, we’ve got even more useful features for pros coming – stay tuned!

The Pullfolio Showcase
We all like to be famous. The Pullfolio Showcase is designed to do just that. We enjoy looking at good images just as much as everybody else – each week, we aim to select a new photographer to feature. We want to show the world the best that Pullfolio photographers have to offer – and in turn, help you to be seen by the world. The front page of Pullfolio will display random images from our featured photographers.
So how do we choose photographers for the Showcase?
There are no restrictions to who we feature – though it is an unrestricted site, so we reserve the right to omit nudity. We aim to have a representative selection from all styles and photographic disciplines, with the sole criteria of excellence – that means artistic cohesiveness, strong compositions, and technical competence. Better still, have a look through our current Showcase photographers to get an idea of what we’re looking for.
Although we do our best to look at everybody’s portfolio, there are so many of you that we ask forgiveness if we miss you out. If you’d like to be considered for our showcase, please email your Pullfolio link to showcase_at_pullfolio.com, and we’ll get back to you.
What happens if I get featured?
We’ll send you an email directly, asking you a few questions for an online ‘interview’, plus which images – around 20 – you’d like to have featured. Then we’ll take care of the rest!
